Award-Winning Entertainer Brings Message of Respect, Kindness and Doing Good to Eden's Sixth Graders

With more than 150 movie and television credits spanning more than a 40-year career, award-winning actor Luis Guzman might just be the perfect guest to read aloud to students! His read-aloud rendition of the popular children's book, The Bad Seed, to sixth graders at ECS on Wednesday, was part reading, part improv and every bit as entertaining as a hit series. In addition to reading, Guzman spoke with students about the importance of being kind and the ways they believe they can improve the world. With his birthday happening the next day, the sixth graders surprised Mr. Guzman with cupcakes and cards, as well!

Stay Connected! Districtwide Communication Test – November 6

As winter approaches, Lamoille North wants to make sure our families are receiving important school communications, including weather-related closures, delays, safety notifications, and student updates.

On Friday, November 6 at 6:00 PM, we'll conduct a districtwide test of our communication system. Families can expect to receive a test message through phone, email, Infinite Campus inbox, and text message (if activated).

We encourage all parents and guardians to take a few moments before November 6 to review their contact information in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Text messaging is a great way to receive timely updates, but families must activate this feature to receive messages.

Strong school-to-home communication is essential, and we appreciate your help in keeping our families informed, connected, and prepared!

Feelings Monsters in Preschool!

Preschool students have been talking about feelings during Guidance class and recently read the book, The Color Monster. This week, they used playdough to make "feeling faces" on Color Monster playdough mats and decorated them with pipe cleaners and googly eyes to create a "Feeling Monster." They were able to share their creations with their class.
