Dear Monfort Families,

It is hard to believe this is our last full week of school! Thank you for all of your support throughout an incredible year filled with learning, growth, friendships, and wonderful memories. We are so proud of our students and all they have accomplished.

We are looking forward to Field Day on Thursday! Please make sure students dress appropriately for outdoor activities, wear comfortable shoes, bring a water bottle, and apply sunscreen before coming to school. We are excited for all of the fun activities and special moments still ahead this school year!

Warmly,

Debbie Nawrocki

The Heart of Our PTO The Heart of Our PTO

Our volunteers help make Monfort such a special place for our students, staff, and families. From supporting classrooms and school events to generously giving their time and talents, their contributions make a lasting impact on our school community. A special thank you to our incredible PTO, who are truly at the heart of so many meaningful experiences and memories created throughout the year.

We would also like to extend an extra special thank you to our PTO Vice President, Jessica Bright, and Treasurer, Brandi Brown, as they will be leaving us at the end of this school year. Their dedication, leadership, and countless hours of support have made an immeasurable difference at Monfort. We are so grateful for everything they have done for our students and school community, and they will be greatly missed.

Future Musicians in the Making Future Musicians in the Making

Students recently had the opportunity to participate in our Band Fitting event, where they explored and tried a variety of instruments to see which ones interested them most. This exciting experience helped students learn more about the band program and consider signing up for band as they head into 6th grade.

THE SWORD AND THE SHIELD NEWS THE SWORD AND THE SHIELD NEWS

Monfort appreciates our newspaper sponsor, Miss Abby Williams, who works with a group of 5th and 6th graders weekly to create The Sword and Shield News. The students learn different styles of writing, interview skills, editing, publishing and other valuable skills in the field of journalism. Below is the link to their online newspaper.
