February Weekly Update

Last week we talked about availability—placing what we have in God’s hands and trusting Him to multiply it. Today, we had the joy of seeing that happen. Together, our school packed 45,504 meals (in 1.5 hours), and those meals will now be sent to Ghana and Uganda—meeting physical needs while also creating opportunities for people to hear about and come to know Jesus. What felt like a simple task became something far greater in God’s hands. Colossians 3:17 reminds us: “Whatever you do… do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Today was a beautiful picture of that truth. When we live with open hands, even ordinary actions have an eternal impact.

Action for This Week:

As a family, begin each day by intentionally offering it to the Lord.
As a family, look for an opportunity to serve someone as an act of worship.

Please join us in prayer this week as we begin hiring for the next school year. We are seeking individuals who:

Love Jesus and His children above all else.
Bring a spirit of unity and a team-building mindset.
Possess the passion and qualifications to meet our students' needs.
Having a growth mindset, combining a relentless work ethic with a genuine enthusiasm for being a lifelong learner.

We believe God already knows who these individuals are, and we pray for clarity and wisdom as we seek to bring them into our school community.

Dear Lord, as we look toward the 2026/2027 school year, we place our hiring process in Your hands. We ask that You draw individuals to our school who are not only highly qualified but are deeply in love with Jesus and His children. We pray for candidates who share our vision and possess a true passion for Christian education. May You bring us team players who value unity and are eager to build up their colleagues. We trust You to provide the right people to carry out Your work in our classrooms, ensuring our students are led by those who reflect Your grace and excellence. Amen.

6th grade PE class

Our 6th grade completed a Jump Rope workout in PE class this week.

5th grade

The 5th Grade students were given applications to fill out & 3 students were chosen to work at Chick-Fil-A for an evening. They did a great job helping to take orders, set up trays, deliver food & clean up the dining room!

Battleship

The 9th graders and Mrs. Smith challenged our 6th grade class in a game of Battleship today. The 6th graders came out with the victory!

The snow make-up day for 1/26 will be Monday, April 6th. This was originally a day off of school. However, Monday, April 6th, school will be in-session for a full day.
