Pike Central Middle High School
Welcome Back: 2026-2027 School Year
August News
Dear Charger Families and Students,
Welcome back! We are thrilled to kick off the 2026β2027 school year. The building is buzzing with energy, and we are already off to a fantastic start!
Senior Sunrise & Sunday Success
Our Class of 2027 kicked off their final year in style with our annual Senior Sunrise & Senior Sunday! The Seniors got to school early and had breakfast together on the football field. Then on Sunday the parking lot was packed as seniors showed off their creativity by painting their assigned parking spots. They wrapped up the day enjoying some delicious pizza and leaving their permanent mark on PCMHS with their handprints on the senior wall. It was a wonderful turnout, and we are excited to celebrate this class all year long.
Athletic Highlight: Back-to-Back Champs!
A huge congratulations to our Varsity Soccer Team! The Chargers dominated the field and won the River City Championship for the second year in a row! Way to go, boys!
Important Policy & Schedule Updates
As we enter this new school year, please keep these two important reminders in mind:
Unified Campus Schedule: High school and middle school are now operating as one unified campus and are on the exact same daily schedule. This transition helps streamline our day and shared resources.
Cell Phone Policy (Indiana State Law): In compliance with new Indiana state law, students are not permitted to use cell phones during the school day. All phones must be put away and stored in student lockers from the start of the school day until the final bell. Thank you for helping us maintain a focused learning environment.
Looking Ahead: Make It a Great Year!
We strongly encourage every student to find a way to get involved this yearβwhether itβs joining a club, playing a sport, participating in the arts, or supporting your peers from the student section. Middle school & High school is what you make it, so dive in and take advantage of every opportunity!
As we step into this new school year together, let's keep our core tradition strong. As always, remember to "Be Nice."
Go Chargers!
