Musician of the Month
September - Ranky Tanky
Ranky Tanky
Hello!
We have really enjoyed listening to the group Ranky Tanky for the month of September. Ranky Tanky is from South Carolina and they play Jazz and Gullah Music. They got together in 2016 and won a Grammy for Best Regional Roots Album in 2020 for their album Good Time. They also performed at the Biden/Harris "We are One" inaugural event.
Below, you'll find links to the songs we heard in music class. There is also a link to the Musician of the Month Spotify Playlist. I hope you enjoy listening to Ranky Tanky as much as we have in class!
