Howdy from Mr. Bouldin - April 17, 2026
Grizzly Families
Hey Grizzly Family,
Spring Break is behind us, and the final stretch of the third trimester is already moving quickly. This week, both staff and students did a great job settling back into routines, diving into classwork, and continuing the strong momentum we’ve built. It’s been great to see students producing high-quality work and staying focused as we head toward the end of the year.
As always, spring brings a busy schedule filled with sports, field trips, and competitions, which can create both excitement and challenges. With the continued support of our teachers and families, our Grizzlies are well-positioned to stay on track and finish strong. Parents, thank you for staying involved and for reaching out to teachers with questions about your student’s progress. Your partnership makes a real difference.
I also want to encourage all of you to check out our Newport High School Facebook page. It is a great place for information and more celebrations of our awesome Grizzly Family!
As always, if you ever have questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out...we’re here for you.
Go Grizzlies!

Cough...Cough...
Here is some amazing advice from Nurse Honey and Nurse Liz!!!
As we work together to keep our school healthy and learning strong, it’s important to know when your child is well enough to attend school—and when they need to rest at home. In general, if a student feels uncomfortable but can still participate in normal school activities, school is usually appropriate. However, students should stay home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or symptoms that prevent them from fully participating. When symptoms last more than a couple of days or worsen, it’s best to contact your healthcare provider. Keeping sick students home helps them recover faster and protects the health of others. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community safe and healthy!
