MS Lego robots in action

Crestwood Lego team rocks their first competition

First Lego League Challenge Qualifying Tournament in York on Saturday. The middle school and Fairview elementary teams were able to showcase what they've learned and also see the other twenty-four teams' approaches to the same challenges.

We're excited to say that our new Fairview Elementary team, composed of Jake Bechtel, Anna Morris, and Lillie Nealon, earned the Breakthrough award and was one of six teams present to qualify for the PA-East Championship competition, which will be held at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia on January 28.

Thanks go out to the Crestwood Education Foundation for the financial support of this team!

The Crestwood Future Business Leaders of America attended the FBLA Region 16 Conference (RLC) at The Woodlands on January 17.

At the RLC, Crestwood FBLA members spent the day learning the results of the recent regional competition. Over 60 Crestwood students competed against other Region 16 chapters in various business events and skills.

School Bus Safety Program is now LIVE!

The Crestwood School District is proud to announce the start of a new School Bus Safety Program in partnership with local law enforcement and in line with PA Motor Vehicle Code 3345.

As part of the program, all school busses that transport Crestwood students will be outfitted with safety technology to make the ride to and from the school safer for all. This technology includes stop-arm enforcement cameras designed to detect vehicles that illegally pass stopped school buses while the bus’s sign arm and red lights are engaged. The police department then reviews the footage to determine whether to issue a violation by mail.

For more information, please check out our School Bus Safety Program website
