We are even more fortunate, however, that the Lew Blond Run has gained incredible support over the last 25 years from our District 30 families, broader community and local businesses. It is wonderful to see everyone joining together to support the Les Turner Foundation, in memory of former Maple School Teacher Lew Blond, who passed away from ALS in 2000.
Thanks to you, this year we raised $15,000 that will support the Les Turner Foundation, plus scholarships for local students studying the applied arts, and District 30 special projects. We are grateful to you for your support of this important cause, and hope you will join us for our 2027 run.

The Lew Blond Run simply could not happen without our volunteers and sponsors. We are thankful to each person who gave their time and talents to ensure the race ran smoothly and safely, while also remaining a fun experience for all.
