Counselor Update
We hope you and your Healthy Hornets are enjoying a wonderful October! The School Counseling Department is excited to share that we have completed Good Touch, Bad Touch lessons with our Kindergarten, Second, and Fourth Grade students whose parents and guardians signed consent forms. We also completed radKIDS lessons with our First, Third, and Fifth Grade students whose parents and guardians provided consent. These programs help teach children important skills for keeping themselves safe and knowing how to seek help in unhealthy situations.
We would also love to share our Healthy Hornet Posters so that you can see what your students practice each week in their classrooms. Our students engage in weekly lessons that focus on a Word of the Week, a Skill of the Week, and a Restorative Circle to support students in identifying their emotions and practicing healthy coping strategies so they can be successful.

As always, if you have any questions, need resources, or would like additional support for your student or your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact us by phone or email. We are grateful for you and hope you have a wonderful day!

Math Parent Letters
We are excited to share Math Parent Letters with you this school year. These letters are designed to help families better understand the mathematics expectations for each grade level or course. They provide important information about the big ideas students will be learning, along with practical ways to support your child’s growth in mathematics at home.
Each letter also highlights strategies to encourage positive mathematical mindsets and explains the mathematical practices that build problem-solving and reasoning skills. Our goal is to partner with you by offering resources and ideas that make learning math meaningful both in the classroom and at home.
📂 Use the file below to find your child’s grade-level letter and explore the specific expectations and resources for their class.
