PTO Update
First, I want to thank everyone for the work they put in to make our Carnival and our other Family Nights this past year an amazing experience for our students! I know just how much went into all the planning and coordination for all of those events and greatly appreciate the time and energy members put into helping with everything from organizing, sending emails, and reaching out to businesses throughout the year. I also want to thank Jenny and Mrs. Coate for decorating the school for Teacher Appreciation Week. I know our teachers and staff appreciated your efforts!
Second, I'd like to welcome in our new parents who signed up during Kindergarten Orientation back in April. We are looking forward to having you join us next year!
Last, a few housekeeping items. Our next meeting is planned for August 4, from 5:30-6:30. I know this is before school starts so I will be completely understanding if people have a harder time making it. However, we have a couple events in August so I believe it would be beneficial to meet prior to them and work through details. As of right now, we have the Freddy's Fundraiser scheduled for August 25th from 4-8. It was also discussed to have a table at Meet the Teacher night, similar to the one we had at Kindergarten Orientation. I know everyone will be busy that night, so I plan to create a sign up as we get closer so that we can hopefully have at least one person available to answer questions and still give all our families the opportunity to see classrooms and meet teachers with their students. I believe Meet the Teacher Night is August 10 and the first day back to school is August 12.
That is everything I wanted to share at this time, but please reach out with any questions or concerns. I'm looking forward to working with all of you next year!
Thank you all!
