Picture Day:
Say cheese!
Picture Day is this Friday, October 10th with retakes on November 21st.
Picture Day order forms were sent home on Monday, October 6th. Please have your child stop down to the front office if you need another. If you have any questions, please call the Gayman Main Office.
Proper footwear for recess & PE:
During physical activity, it is important that students wear proper footwear. Loose fitting shoes (i.e. crocs, moccasins, slippers, etc.) create safety challenges during recess and physical education class. For example, during kick ball at recess, crocs have flown off and we have had a few toe injuries during PE.
If your child has physical education class, or would like to play an active recess game, please ensure that they are wearing sneakers.Thank you!
**Students are welcome to bring sneakers in their school bag and change for recess or PE
The district is continuing to offer free breakfast.
The lunch cost for the 2025-2026 school year is: $2.85
Don't forget to sign up for MySchoolBucks to add money to your student's lunch account.

CBSD utilizes the online platform MySchoolBucks for school meal payments, making it easy to oversee a child's meal choices and maintain their account balance. It is important that an account is created for every student, regardless of whether they take part in school meals or not. You can access MySchoolBucks to view and/or set up an account for your student(s) here. To set up an account, you will need your child(ren)'s student identification number(s), which can be found in the Parent Portal.

There are two ways to get involved: 1) Join our Board of Directors – A unique opportunity for community and business leaders to help guide the Foundation’s vision, programs, and partnerships; and 2) Volunteer on a Committee – Share your time and talents in areas such as publicity, community relations, instructional support, or events. If you are interested in serving, please apply for a Board Member position or apply for a volunteer position. Learn more about CBEF on the foundation's website.
