No School Monday, May 25
There will be no school on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day; a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country. We hope everyone takes a moment to reflect on the meaning of the day and enjoys a safe and relaxing long weekend with family and friends.
Super Games
Students had an amazing time at Super Games today! Even with the event moved indoors, students were able to participate in exciting and fun filled activities. A big thank you to Megan Findley for organizing such a memorable day! We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to our amazing parent volunteers—this event truly couldn't happen without your time, your energy, and the incredible support of our PTO!
5th grade Promotion Ceremony on Friday, May 29
We are excited to invite 5th grade families to our Fifth Grade Promotion Ceremony on May 29!
Doors open at 9:20 AM, and the ceremony will run from 9:45 AM to approximately 10:30 AM.
Afterward, please join us in the halls for our traditional "clap out" before heading outside for the bell-ringing ceremony—a perfect opportunity for photos! Since this is a half day with dismissal at 12:25 PM, you may choose to sign your child out after the ceremonies or they are welcome to stay until midday dismissal. For your convenience, a sign-out for fifth grade students will be available at the entrance when you arrive if you will be signing your child out.

Dublin City Schools Updates
My American Story Digital Gallery is Live on our Website
After a massive district-wide effort, each building nominated its most impactful student artifacts to represent our collective history. We now invite all community members to visit the America 250 page on our website to browse these curated works. To participate, simply note the school name and entry number of your favorite projects in each category (PK-5, 6-8, and 9-12) and cast your vote using the Community Choice Ballot between May 15–26. Winners will be announced on May 29. Thank you for helping us celebrate our students' unique contributions to the American fabric!
DCS Summer Reading
To keep our DCS students sharp and inspired, our teachers curated exciting summer reading resources designed to strengthen literacy skills. Middle and high schoolers can explore grade-level lists centered around a unifying essential question, complete with engaging activities to jumpstart discussions when they return this fall. Meanwhile, elementary families can browse our dedicated website of award-winning titles perfect for younger readers. We encourage every student to visit their local public library and grab a book that sparks their curiosity!
Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Free Summer Reading Challenge
This summer, your child can join forces with the Reading League to keep their reading skills strong! Starting June 1, sign up at columbuslibrary.org/summerreading or stop in any Columbus Metropolitan Library location.
