NEWS FROM THE WEBSTER LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER
Welcome to Webster's Library Media Center!
All students at Webster School checked out their first library book this week for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
One of the BEST ways to help your child become a better reader is to show excitement and enthusiasm for their chosen library book.
How can you do this?
Ask your child the following questions:
1. What book did you get from the library this week?
2. Why did you choose that book?
3. Do you have a favorite page in this book? Why?
Also, when YOU take a few minutes each day to read with your child, you set an example that reading is fun and important.
YOU as the adult at home play a VITAL role in developing your student's reading skills. Show YOUR love for reading and it will spread to your children!
Enjoy those library books!
When do I return my library book?
You may keep your book as long as needed until you have read it. Most students enjoy trading or swapping their books weekly. Listed below is the schedule for the library this school year. It works best to return your library book on the day your class is scheduled to visit the Webster library.
