Nurses Corner
From the school nurse:
Dear Parents,
Letters will be coming home in the next week to any student who does not have a physical examination on file. The forms needed will be attached to the letter.
The Maryland State School Health Law (COMAR 13A.05.05.07) requires all students who are new to the Maryland Public School System to have a physical examination. The law requires this examination to be completed within nine months before entering the public school system, or within six months after entering it.
Please have the forms completed by a healthcare provider and return them to the school.
Thank you,
Alicia McLain, RN, BSN

Spotlight on PAC Students
Carson Scholars
On behalf of the Carson Scholars Fund, it is my pleasure to congratulate your student, Hailey Carlson, on being selected as a 2026 Carson Scholar! Funding for this scholarship was made possible by Supporters of Maryland Carson Scholars who believes in the transformative power of education and service to others.
This year’s applicant pool was exceptionally competitive, and Hailey was selected as part of the largest cohort of Carson Scholars in our 30-year history. Their commitment to academic excellence, leadership and service to others exemplifies the qualities of a Carson Scholar and earned them recognition among an outstanding group of students nationwide.
Congratulation Hailey! We are so proud of you!
