Happy Friday, Davis Families!

Fall weather at last!! 🍂🍁

This week we had a situation where one of our student's email account was hacked and an email was sent out from his account to the entire school. We started working on this immediately and our IT was involved by 6:30 am that morning. Information was shared with students that they should never click on any links in an unknown email, forward the email, or reply to the email. Unfortunately many students continued to do so anyway. At this point, we do not believe that there was any major issues from this but it is important for the students to follow basic digital safety. We go over digital safety with them each year, as well as at various times throughout the school year. Students were advised to see Mrs. Aston in the media center if they clicked on the email link within the original email, or if they emailed the listed address from their personal or school email. If you would reiterate to your student at home about the digital safety, I would appreciate it!

Have a great weekend.

Go Irish!

Jaime
