SHINE ON!
Week of March 9, 2026
Scholastic Book Fair/Pastries with Parents, GBP Bake Sale, Homeless Shelter Easter Baskets
What a Seuss-tastic week! It was so fun to see our Sunbeams’ personalities shine with our themed days this week! The dentist was so impressed with how polite and attentive our students were during their presentation! Huge thanks to Lansdowne Pediatric Dentistry for the toothbrushes and a great visit.
Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open next week!! Most parents/big people choose to shop during their Pastries with Parents day (schedule below) but the Fair is open in Asbury Hall all week!
On Friday, the Fair moves to Wesley Hall (meeting hall below the Sanctuary) so our church members can shop.
On Sunday, March 15th, we are also having a GBP Bake Sale after each church service. GBP parents can drop off bake sale donations next Thursday, Friday or Sunday morning. Please label and package items for sale (1-2 cookies or a wrapped loaf of yummy bread). See the sign up below for more details.
-GBP's Scholastic Book Fair is March 9-15.
-Pastries with Parents(Big People) is March 11th (MW 2s, MWF 3s, Bees)
and 12th (T/TH 2s/3s and Owls)!
-April Lunch Bunch and Enrichments Links will be posted on Brightwheel on Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30pm. March Lunch Bunch link can be found below.
Please see below to donate an Easter Basket for the youth at Loudoun Homeless Services Shelter. GBP provides the clear wrap bags. "Baskets" could be a bag/tote/container that the recipient can reuse later.
-Spring Pictures are March 23rd (MW 2s, MWF 3s, Bees) and 24th (T/TH 2s/3s and Owls)
Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.
-2s and 3s pick up: 11:50am-12pm
-4s and siblings pick up: 12-12:15pm
