If your child is going to be out of school, or tardy, or dismissed, please remember to call our Attendance Line at 781-918-4965. You can leave a message on this line anytime, day or evening. Please call before 9am if your child will be absent or tardy on any given day and before 1:15pm if your child's dismissal is in need of change.

Anyone who wishes to volunteer in their child's classroom must have a current CORI form in our system. In order for your completed form to be sent to our Central Office, we will need to take a look at your ID to verify your current address. This needs to be done in person. No photocopies can be accepted. Cori forms are valid for the current school year only and usually take 5 business days to clear. Valid CORIs are good for the entire district...no need to fill out separate forms for different schools!

Haywood Photography will be at our school on Thursday, October 17th! Please read the following and download the attachment for picture package and ordering information:

ONLINE ORDERS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. No forms need to be returned by parents.

The pre-order option will be available through Wednesday, October 23rd at 7:00am. All print orders will be mailed directly to the home addresses provided at checkout. If parents do not order by the pre-order deadline, their child will receive a NO BUY proof card with instructions on how they can order at that point. The NO BUY proof cards will be sent to the school for distribution.

IMPORTANT**Please be advised that orders placed after the deadline are subject to higher package pricing and shipping/handling fees. The package options are different and some items may not be available.

Lost and found items are already overflowing! Please label your child's items with their first AND last name or at least their last initial so that items can make their way back to your children. Any items remaining on Friday 10/4, will be donated!

If your child is diagnosed with an illness such as strep, covid, flu, etc., please report that information on the illness line and email to let me know at Leah_Devereaux@bedfordps.org, or call into my office at 781-918-4906.

School Directory Cover Contest

Davis & Lane students are invited to design a cover drawing for this year’s school directory. Artwork should be in color. The theme for this year's cover contest is "Imagine, Believe, Achieve." Elements of this theme should be included in all submissions. Deadline for submission is Friday, October 11th. To submit artwork or for more information, click here.

Update your Membership Toolkit Information

BEST PTO uses Membership Toolkit (MTK) for our organization's communication and directory access. Please update your student(s) details with the Current Teacher's Name, so that your student(s) name appears in the class roster in the directory. We'd greatly appreciate it if this is done before Friday, October 4th. so that the directory team has the correct class rosters for the directory.

Bedford Education Foundation (BEF)

Happy Fall, Y'all! We hope everyone has been enjoying the start of the school year. The BEF has already started discussing plans for SY24-25, but we REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!! We have been fundraising and grant making very successfully, but our numbers have been declining. We all know how important our work is, but we need more hands to make lighter work and keep things going!
