Last Week Before Winter Break!

Dear Families,

It's hard to believe the school year is nearly halfway over. It has been such a joy and a privilege to watch your students learn and grow in SO MANY ways. As I visit classrooms, see students in the cafeteria or interact in various capacities, I see so much change already. I am so proud of our staff and students and I am very fortunate to work at North Park, leading such a phenomenal team of educators. I am also so grateful to the wonderful families we have - you are amazing to partner with and we are so appreciative of your support. So, in the spirit of such a giving season, I want to say thank you for giving me the chance to work with your children and giving our staff the chance to make a difference in so many little lives. I hope all of you have a safe, healthy and wonderful Winter Break together.

Tomorrow is a very busy day at NPES. We have gingerbread house decorating in the morning, the make up Preschool Holiday Meal and more gingerbread decorating in the afternoon.

Don't forget to pick up your fundraiser items! They are in the office. You may get them between 7:10AM and 3:30 PM by Friday at the latest.

Preschool families - we cannot make any changes to the preschool holiday meal plans tomorrow. Due to the number of visitors coming in and out for a variety of things, we do not have the time or capability to run background checks on any new guests. Thank you for understanding. If you aren't able to attend due to the change in the date, we know that is frustrating. We were disappointed by the snow cancellation as well. If you are unable to attend, you may have lunch with your child at another time.

We have some fun theme days this week. These are totally optional and tied to themed treats we give our teachers each day (THANKS TO YOUR DONATIONS). Please see the list below if you'd like to have your child participate in the fun!

PLEASE RETURN NTI PACKETS THIS WEEK IF YOU OPTED FOR THE PACKET OPTION.

If you need assistance with the app in any way, please call the NPES office at 270-351-4464 or email laurabeth.hayes@hardin.kyschools.us

Sincerely,

Mrs. Hayes (principal)
