DMS Principal's Corner

🍂 Dewey Middle School October Newsletter 🍂

Hello DMS Families,

Fall is in the air, and October is a busy and exciting month at Dewey Middle School! We are so proud of the hard work our students are putting into their classes and activities. Thank you for continuing to encourage them at home—it makes a big difference.

📅 Parent - Teacher Conferences

Parent- Teacher Conferences are October 13 & 14, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Please call the office to schedule your time to meet with your child's teachers. We look forward to seeing you!

✅ IXL Benchmarks
Students will complete Math and ELA benchmarks on October 13 & 14. These are through IXL and are used to measure growth. We are already seeing great effort, and we will continue to celebrate progress throughout the year.

🎃 Fall Fun
On Wednesday. October 15, we will have a teacher-student volleyball tournament. Students are forming their teams now. The cost to attend or play is $2 and there will also be a concession stand available. Later this month, we’ll celebrate Red Ribbon Week with daily themes and activities.

📚 BOOST Advisory
Our weekly BOOST sessions continue to help students check grades, strengthen skills, and enjoy time reading and learning together.

🍁 Thank You
We appreciate your support as we move into the heart of the school year. Together, we’re helping every student grow academically and personally.

Proud to be Bulldogger,
