A Great Week in Bulldog Nation!
Last week was a fantastic week in Bulldog Nation as we celebrated Homecoming with school spirit, student involvement, and community pride! Our spirit dress-up days brought lots of participation from both students and staff, creating an exciting atmosphere throughout the week.
The excitement continued with our pep rally for students in grades 6–12, followed by our amazing Homecoming parade through the Town of Princeton. It was wonderful to see our student body, fifth-grade students from Princeton Elementary, parents, and community members come together to enjoy this special tradition. Our band, cheerleaders, and numerous clubs and athletic teams proudly participated in the parade, making it a memorable event for everyone involved. To top off the week, our varsity football team celebrated a victory!
This week was a wonderful reminder of what makes Bulldog Nation so special—a school and community where we learn, grow, celebrate, and have fun together! Thank you to everyone who helped make Homecoming week such a success and for continuing to support our students and schools.
As we look ahead, this week marks the beginning of the second grading quarter for all students. We encourage our students to start the quarter strong by attending school daily, arriving prepared to learn, and giving their best effort in every class. In grades 6–8, consistent attendance is especially important as teachers introduce new material that students will be expected to demonstrate mastery of on their End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments. At the high school level, our semester courses move quickly, and important assessments and exams will be approaching before we know it. Daily attendance, active participation, and staying current with assignments are essential to student success.
We also want to remind families of upcoming testing on October 27. Our tenth-grade students will take the Pre-ACT, while our seniors will participate in WorkKeys testing. To help prepare our seniors for this important assessment, students will have opportunities to participate in a WorkKeys review during select English and history classes this week. We encourage our students to take advantage of these review opportunities and approach their assessments with confidence.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to provide the best possible educational experience for every student in Bulldog Nation. As always, please reach out if you have any questions or need additional information. We look forward to another great week!
