AVA Family Update
October 19, 2025
Good morning AVA students and families,
The schedule, guidance updates, community updates, and important dates are all below as per usual. Please not the late start time and period switches on Friday.
Two big items this week: Progress Report grades will be published this Wednesday. If you need help with accessing them once published, or have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out to me.
The second is for Seniors, and current Juniors who hope to be promoted mid-year and still graduate this May: Attached below is a letter from the AHS Principal outlining the things you need to do to ensure a smooth graduation, whether you plan to participate in Senior Events or not. Please read it carefully and attend to the tasks assigned.
Thank you for your time.

FAFSA Festival - Hosted by MEFA
The MA Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) is hosting a virtual financial aid help session on Wednesday, October 29th from 4pm-6pm. AVA seniors and families thinking about college or even trade schools (many accept FAFSA) are strongly encouraged to participate. Please click HERE to register and for more information.
FSA ID Night
Kind reminder: On October 30th from 6pm-8pm, the AHS Guidance Dept. will be hosting an FSA ID night to help seniors and families complete the FSA ID for federal financial aid. Though it is the same night and time as Parent Teacher Conference Night, we welcome any AVA seniors and their families to join us on campus or make a virtual appointment with Ms Nellie for FSA ID help that night. Registration is required, so please click HERE to register.
As always, please feel free to email me (nng@attleboroschools.com) with any questions, comments, or concerns. Have a restful weekend!
