I hope this message finds you well. Here are a few updates regarding Open Enrollment for 2023-24:

• Open Enrollment Dates for the 2023-24 school year are now posted on our website. All current PUSD families will receive a hard copy of the Open Enrollment calendar in the mail in mid-October, and we will send extras to your school sites in October.
• Sibling and Program Priority Registration applications go live online Oct. 24, 2022, 9AM - Nov. 14, 2022, 4PM. Please schedule and send reminders to your current families who may have incoming siblings next year.
• School Registrars and Data Clerks- Save the Date! October 18, 10-11AM Training-- You should have received an invitation from Annie regarding training on any anticipated changes to Open Enrollment this year, including the application system.

Enrollment Completion

Please make sure that you have completed your Aeries Online Enrollment, Relinquish Form, and Master Agreement. If we are missing any of these items, Ms. Avaness will be in touch this week to help you complete them.

Course Access

All coursework is available through Canvas, along with your links to the daily live sessions. If you are experiencing any issues accessing your student's courses, please reach out to your student's teacher.

Parent Resources

Please be sure to sign up for our parent accounts available to you. Signing up for these accounts will help you stay informed and up to date with what is going on at school.

• Aeries Parent Portal - access to attendance, grades, and student information that you can update.
• Canvas Parent Portal - gives you access to course content, assignments, and student progress.
• Class Dojo - allows for real time communication and a platform for families and students to engage with their teacher. (Get your join code from your teacher)

Optional In Person Learning

In September we will begin offering in person learning opportunities for our students. If your families decides not to attend, then work will be posted for the day for students to complete independently. However, morning meetings will still be held at 8:45am for all students on these optional in person Wednesdays.

If you have not come by to pick up your student's textbooks or Chromebook, please reach out to Ms. Avaness to make an appointment to come by. We are open daily between 8:30am - 4:00pm.
