HST CLUB REGISTRATION 2026–2027

Dear HST Scholars and Parents,

Harmony School of Technology is excited to offer a variety of after-school clubs for the 2026–2027 school year! Our clubs provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, build new skills, make connections, and enjoy meaningful experiences beyond the classroom.

We strongly encourage our scholars to participate in extracurricular activities and take advantage of these opportunities for personal, social, and academic growth.

Please take time to review the clubs, teams, and activities available this school year.

📚 AFTER-SCHOOL TUTORIALS HAVE PRIORITY

Please be advised that after-school tutorials take priority over after-school clubs.

Tutorials will be offered on the following days:

  • Monday: Math Tutorial
  • Tuesday: ELA Tutorial
  • Thursday: Social Studies & Science Tutorials

Clubs and tutorials will both begin on Monday, August 24, 2026.

⚠️ Before registering for any club, parents must check their student’s tutorial schedule. Students should not register for a club that conflicts with a required tutorial day.

🎉 CLUB REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Club registration opens Monday, August 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

Registration and payment for clubs that require a fee will be completed directly through RevTrak. Once you submit the club fee payment through RevTrak, your student is registered for that club. There is no separate registration form for paid clubs.

Registration Deadline: Monday August 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM

First Day of Clubs: Monday, August 24, 2026

Club Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. NO clubs on Wednesday and Friday.

Important Registration Information:

  • Space is limited, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Students cannot register for two clubs that meet on the same day.
  • Clubs may be canceled if fewer than 10 students register.
  • Late registration or payment will not be accepted.
  • Club fees are nonrefundable unless a club is canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
  • For clubs that do not require payment, such as NJHS, please contact the club sponsor directly for registration details, eligibility, and participation requirements.

💳 CLUB FEES

The majority of after-school clubs and activities charge $50 per student, per club, per semester or yearly. Some clubs may require an additional fee based on their specific activities or needs.

Students requesting a fee waiver must submit the required Fee Waiver Application Form and supporting documentation to determine eligibility. Each student may use the fee waiver for one club only.

All club registration and payments must be completed online through REVTRAK.

🏅 IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ATHLETICS

Students may register and pay for an athletics club only after participating in the required tryout and being officially selected for the team.

Students who did not attend tryouts or were not selected for the team should not submit payment through RevTrak for that athletic program.

📋 DISCIPLINE & EXPECTATIONS

All rules and regulations outlined in the Harmony School of Technology Student Handbook apply to the after-school program.

Students are expected to remain in their assigned club or tutorial location during the after-school period. Students may not go to their lockers or loiter in the hallways, cafeteria, or other areas of the campus.

🚗 DISMISSAL

Club dismissal is at 4:30 PM. Parents/guardians must make arrangements to pick up their students promptly. All students participating in after-school clubs must be picked up and off campus by 4:30 PM.

⏰ LATE PICK-UP POLICY

If you expect to be late, please arrange for an authorized friend or relative to pick up your child and notify the club sponsor as soon as possible.

  • First Late Pick-Up: The club sponsor will remind the family of the pick-up expectations and document the late pick-up.
  • Second Late Pick-Up: The club sponsor will provide another reminder and document the incident.
  • Third Late Pick-Up: The student will no longer be permitted to participate in the club, and no refund will be provided.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER

After-school tutorials take priority over clubs. Before paying for and registering your student for a club, please check your student’s required tutorial days to avoid scheduling conflicts.

Thank you for supporting your scholar’s participation in Harmony School of Technology’s after-school programs!

  • Important: Devices may not be stored in any other location, including:

The instructional day is defined as “From the time a student arrives on campus in the morning until the final period of the day concludes. This includes lunch and passing periods”.

Dismissal Cell Phone Exception: During dismissal, students may use their cell phones only to call or text a parent/guardian regarding transportation or pick-up arrangements. All other cell phone use remains prohibited during dismissal. Students must continue to follow staff directions and all dismissal procedures.

Exceptions to the Policy

Device use during the school day is only permitted under the following documented circumstances:

  • Medical necessity, supported by a written directive from a licensed physician

  • Special education accommodations as outlined in the student’s IEP or 504 Plan

Handling Unauthorized Use

If a student is observed using a personal device during the school day, staff must follow the steps below:

  2. Secure Storage by Dean

    • The Dean will store the device in a locked cabinet or secure box.

    • The device must be clearly labeled with the student’s full name and grade (e.g., with a Post-it note or tag).

    • The Dean will log the incident as appropriate.

  3. Parent/Guardian Notification

    • The staff member who confiscated the device must contact the parent or guardian via email or phone call to inform them of the confiscation.

  4. Retrieval Protocol

    • The Dean will establish a local campus procedure in coordination with the front office for device retrieval by a parent/guardian.

    • Devices must be picked up in person by the parent/guardian.

    • Front office staff should verify the identity of the person retrieving the device and document the handoff.

Consequences for Unauthorized Use & Possession

Disciplinary consequences apply to all personal communication devices used in violation of this policy. Offenses are cumulative and sequential—each step must be followed before escalating to the next.

7TH GRADE IMMUNIZATIONS

Dear Parent/Guardian:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you of immunization requirements that will impact rising 7th grade students.

Students entering 7th grade are required to have one dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccine and one dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4, Menactra) for individuals who have not already received those vaccines.

Please contact your health care provider or local health department if your child needs these vaccines. For additional information on immunization requirements please visit The Department of State Health Services website at www.ImmunizeTexas.com

All immunizations should be completed by the first day of school. However, you will have 30 calendar days from the first day of school to provide the required up-to-date immunization record for your child.

If, at the end of the 30-day period, a student has not received a subsequent dose of vaccine, the student is not in compliance and the school shall exclude the student from school attendance until the required dose is administered.

Please contact the school for any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
