Have a great summer!

Mustang Families,

Thank you for an amazing year this year at Murchison Elementary. I know I speak for all of the staff when I say we have truly enjoyed getting to know your children this year.

If your child is returning to Murchison next year, Meet the Teacher Night is on August 11 and the first day of school is August 13. In the meantime, have a fun and safe summer! I'd love to see pictures of your child's summer adventures so feel free to send them my way and let me know if I am able to post them on the school Facebook page or if they are just for me!

Thank you for sharing your children with us!

From Better Health Counseling

As the school year comes to a close I wanted to make you aware of counseling services that we offer at Better Health Counseling. We are a group practice with locations in Hutto, Round Rock, and Georgetown. Our practice provides in-person and remote (telehealth) services throughout the state of Texas, catering to individuals, couples, and families. Our therapists are highly experienced and can help with a variety of concerns and treatment approaches.

We understand that seeking therapy can be a significant financial commitment for many, which is why we offer a variety of payment options, including insurance and a low sliding fee scale. This summer we are also offering a discount counseling program with our Graduate Interns from UMHB. The cost is $30 for individual sessions and $40 for couples and family sessions for those who qualify.

In addition to individual, couple, and family therapy, we also provide group counseling opportunities. This summer, we will be offering the following groups for $5 per week:

Children of Divorce Support Group (Ages 6-10)
Parent Self Care

If you have any further questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please do not hesitate to contact us at 512-402-3037. You can also find more information about our therapists and the services we offer on our website.
