๐ฌ A Note from Mr. Zach DeVito
Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!
We will not have school next week on Monday or Tuesday in observance of the extended Labor Day weekend, and will start the week off with Block days on Wednesday and Thursday. Please note that staff will be engaged in professional development on Tuesday.
This past week was a great one with our Blue Out Pep Rally and the first volleyball games of the season. Our Jones students did an amazing job in our Blue Pep Rally wearing blue, being loud, cheering for everyone, and even being super silent and respectful during our choir National Anthem. Our volleyball student athletes did amazing their first week and swept their opponent. Next week we are excited to kick off footballโour 7th grade team will play at Jones, and our 8th grade team will play at Childrenโs Health Stadium!
As a reminder for all after-school sporting events:
-
Students must go home before returning to attend games. We are unable to provide supervision for students waiting an hour or more before start times.
-
Students who are not attending games with their parent must be picked up by 8:00 p.m., regardless of whether the game has ended.
-
Please make sure your student has a plan to get picked up at the appropriate time after all events.
Please see the flyer below regarding our Jones Middle School PTO fundraiser starting September 3rd!
Have a great weekend! Go Jags!

Dear Jones Families,
At Jones, we are committed to supporting the academic, post-secondary readiness, social, and emotional success of every student. To help us better understand how we can meet the needs of our students and families, we are conducting a Counseling Needs Survey.
How You Can Help: We kindly ask that you take a few minutes to complete the survey. Your input is important and will help us shape our counseling programs and services to best support our school community.
