Medication Alert

With only 11 days remaining we wanted to send one more friendly reminder that your son/daughter has medication here in the school clinic.

As per the Savannah Chatham County Board of Education policy any medication that is unclaimed on the last day of school must be taken to Risk Management for destruction. No medications will be stored for future use during the next school year. As well as no medication will be sent home with students .

All medication must be picked up no later than May 21, 2025 by 2 PM from the Nurse’s Office.

Jenkins High School graduation practice will be held at Herschel V. Jenkins, May 14-16 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Students arriving after 8:00 AM will not be admitted.

May 14, 2025-Spring Flag Football Jamboree at Islands Stadium

4:00 pm - Savannah High vs Johnson

5:00 pm - Savannah High vs Jenkins

6:00 pm - Jenkins vs Johnson

May 16, 2025-Spring Football: Red vs. White Game: 6:00pm at Jenkins High School Stadium

• Jenkins Alumni will be tailgating in our student parking lot on Timberland Dr. starting at 3:30pm

• The district is aware of the event, and we will have scanners and SRO on site for this event.

• Admission to the game: $10

We are excited to recognize Alexander's hard work and dedication to being a lifelong learner by presenting him with the Harvard Book Award. There are only 18 students in the state of Georgia recognized by this group of Harvard Alumni. Mr. Massey from the Harvard Alumni Association was here to present the award.

Greetings Warrior Parents/Guardians,

Effective July 1, 2021, children 16 years of age and older, who are entering the 11th grade (including new entrants), must have received one booster dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4), unless their initial dose was administered on or after their 16th birthday.

Each school year, every school in SCCPSS is audited by the Department of Public Health to ensure students' immunizations are up to date according to Georgia state law mandates. This email is being sent to help parents/guardians get a jump start on the 2025-2026 school year. Please see the attachment for additional information regarding immunization requirements for your rising 11th grader. Also be advised that your student's immunization status as well as administration of immunizations can be done at a doctor's office, health clinic, health department, and/or pharmacy.
