A Note from Mrs. Satkoski.......
On November 11 we celebrate Veteran's Day. Ms. Stubbs and our fourth graders are ready to perform on 11-11-26 at 1 pm. If you'd like to attend, please fill out the google form below answering the following questions - 1 - I will be attending; 2 - I'd like to take my kids home after the performance (check out with your child's fourth grade teacher and if a child in another grade level, please fill out and we will make sure we have your child ready to go). We are so very thankful to all that have served in the US military. Thank you for your service!
Veteran's Day Program 2026
We are trying something new for the Veteran's Day Program which will take place on November 11, 2026 at 1 pm. If you would like to attend (our fourth graders will be performing and ONLY our third graders will be attending), please fill out the form below. Please also fill this out if you plan on taking your child home after the program, indicating who will be taking them home, and check out at doors 6/7 with your child's teacher (they will have the list). If you do not fill out the form it will take longer as we will have to send you to another line to check out with our secretary. PLEASE fill out the form if you are attending AND/OR if you are taking your child home after the program. Thank you for your help! Please fill out the form by November 10, 2026 so we can get all lists prepared for the teachers.
Third Grade Vision Screening
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Good vision plays an important role in your child’s learning and success at school. To support your student’s vision needs, Indiana law requires vision screenings at specific grade levels.
Kindergarten or 1st Grade: A Modified Clinical Technique (MCT) examination is required and is performed by a licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist.
3rd, 5th, and 8th Grade: Vision screenings are performed by the school nurse.
Our school will conduct vision screenings for 3rd Grade on Friday, November 13th. The screening is quick and simple, taking just a few minutes.
If your child passes, no report will be sent home.
If the screening suggests that your child may need further vision care, the results will be shared with you.
* Reminder: If your child wears glasses or contact lenses, please make sure they wear them on the day of the screening. *
If you prefer that your child not participate, please send a written note or contact the health office.
If you have any questions, please contact the Health Office or School Nurse using the contact information provided below.
Thank you for supporting your child’s health and education!
Sincerely,
Sherry Stanfield, BSN, RN
