We are entering our last week of STAAR testing. 8th grade students that missed their Science or U.S. History STAAR assessments will be pulled for make-up testing Monday through Wednesday.

We will not provide water or snacks for all students.
If you would like to send an appropriate snack with your student feel free to do so. Snacks need to be neat, and make little to no noise. Suggestions include:
- Granola bars
- Goldfish
- Pretzels
- Grapes
- Cheese sticks
- Bananas
- Jerky
- Dried fruit
- Protein bars.
- NO TAKIS
Students may only bring water to drink. No soda, juice, or energy drinks.
Students are not allowed to bring blankets or pillows to school during STAAR testing days.
Student may bring their backpacks and are encouraged to only bring their charged chromebook and charger.
Student may bring a book or magazine to read after they finish their assessment.
Please make sure your student is well rested, chromebooks are fully charged, chargers are in backpacks, and their ready to go tomorrow. We know our students are going to do fantastic!
I'm also excited to share we will kick off our APEX Color Games campus fundraiser the week of May 8th (flyer below). The week of May 8th is also our teacher appreciation week. Teachers have been working so hard and they definitely deserve all the appreication we can show on them!

Check your student's Chromebook Charger!
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we enter the Spring and head toward state testing, we need your assistance in helping to locate your student's charger to be assured they have their dedicated Chromebook charger (not just using phone charger etc) and purchasing the replacement before testing begins. All devices are expected to be fully charged at night and students are expected to bring their chargers to school if their device is low on batteries. As chargers are 1:1 with devices, campuses do not have the availability to provide loaner chargers for all missing chargers.
To purchase a replacement charger, please follow this document for assistance.
