A Word From Mrs. Ashley

Dear Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

I hope this message finds you well and having a great summer with your friends and family. As we prepare for the new school year at Goshen Creek Elementary, I would like to take a moment to introduce our dedicated administrative team and our new staff members who will be joining us.

We are excited to share important upcoming events with you:

  • Online Registration: Registration is online and available.
  • Kindergarten Kickoff: A special event for our incoming kindergarten students to be assessed for class placements, take a tour of Goshen Creek, have your picture taken, and pick up a swag bag on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
  • Meet the Teacher: An opportunity for students and parents to meet their teachers before the school year is on Thursday, August 7, 2025.
  • First Day of School: Mark your calendars—school will officially begin on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make this a fantastic year for our students.

Parent Access Information

Springtown ISD students took the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) earlier this spring, and results are available today.

June 10 – STAAR End-of-Course results available

June 17 – STAAR Grades 3–8 results available

To view your child’s results, log into the Skyward Parent Portal and click on the Texas Assessments icon. This will give you an access code and a direct link to the Texas Assessment Results Website, where you can:

See which questions your child got right and wrong

Understand their strengths and areas for growth

Access helpful resources to support learning at home

Families have told us this information is incredibly helpful—especially when preparing for the new school year.

When you meet with your child’s teacher in the fall, use these results along with grades and your own observations to help create a strong academic plan for success.
