Welcome from Your School Counselor

Hello, Eagle Elementary families! I am excited to support our students as they learn, grow, and discover their potential. As your school counselor, I am here to help with academic success, friendships, conflict resolution, communication, self-regulation, decision-making, and social-emotional needs. I provide solution-focused support to individuals and groups and advocate for the needs of all students. I can also connect families with resources such as clothing, school supplies, and weekend food bags. Please know that my door is always open—if your student could use some extra support or you have a question or concern, please reach out to me. My office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Lower Campus Asphalt work

Families,

We are so happy to share the improved playground blacktops and painting. The game lines look bright and new! Our quarter mile track is finished and looks awesome too. Thanks to West Ada for funding new blacktop and game lines on our playgrounds.

Busses

Our buses have been doing a great job getting students to and from school safely! We do want to share that Bus S-01 has been arriving at school late and leaving late by approximately 15 minutes in both the morning and afternoon.

We hope you have downloaded the Transportation app so you can track your child’s bus and stay updated on its arrival times. If you need to download the app, have questions or concerns, or need assistance with your child’s transportation, please visit the Transportation Department page. You can also submit a ticket through the page so the Transportation Department can help make your child’s bus experience the best it can be.

Drop off and Pick up routines

Parents,

You are awesome! Our drop-off and pick-up lines have been running so smoothly. Thank you for helping us keep things safe and efficient!

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times

  • Morning Drop-Off:
8:45 AM — Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
    9:00 AM — Wednesday
  • Afternoon Pick-Up: 3:55 PM

We Have Two Approved Drop-Off and Pick-Up Areas

1. In Front of the Office

You have two options:

  • Drive-Up Flow: Please remain in your vehicle and pull forward to the curb to drop off your child. A staff member will be on duty to assist students if needed.
At the end of the day, we use a double line. Please remain in your vehicle, and our staff will quickly and safely load your children into your car. We work hard to keep this line moving efficiently so that we do not back up onto Eagle Road.
  • Park & Walk: You may park in the lot and escort your child(ren) across the parking lot using the crosswalk to enter campus. Please use the crosswalk and do not cut in front of the moving line of cars. A staff member with a stop sign will be on duty to help families safely cross.

2. Mission Drive — Across from the Lower Campus

You may park along Mission Drive and walk your children to campus, or unload/load your children from your vehicle.

We have a staff member on crosswalk duty to help students safely cross Mission Drive and Eagle Road. For everyone's safety, please have your children use the crosswalks and never run across the road, even when traffic appears clear.

Lower Campus Parking Lot

Our lower campus parking lot is closed during the following times while buses are entering and exiting:

  • 8:40–9:05 AM
  • 3:30–4:15 PM

The driveway is not large enough for cars and buses to safely enter and exit at the same time. Please do not enter the lower campus parking lot during these times.

Outside of these hours, parents may use the lower campus parking lot.

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe and our traffic flowing smoothly! We appreciate your patience, cooperation

Teachers love our volunteers. There will be opportunities to volunteer in the classroom, sign up slots will be available at our August 27th Back to School Night. All volunteers have to read the volunteer handbook and sign the Volunteer Application, Disclosure and Acknowledgement Statement and turn into the office before helping in the classrooms. Thank you!
