The Weekly Highlander

Next week there are many activities on and off campus for our community. PTA is holding its monthly meeting on Tuesday at 1 pm in the library and will also be sponsoring Fun Friday for our students at lunch. On Wednesday, our volleyball players will be headed to Momentus Sports for the TPSF volleyball festival. This event is such a fun way to close out the volleyball season. Parents are welcome to attend the event at 14522 Myford Road in Irvine from 9 am - 12 pm. On Wednesday evening our 7th Grade Core Teachers and Students are hosting Knight at the Museum. The event runs from 6 pm - 7 pm and we love welcoming families on campus to see what our students have been working on this semester.

We are working with your student to plan for the 2024-2025 school year. Students in 6th and 7th grade have until Friday, February 23rd to select two electives and two alternate electives for next school year. Our 8th graders will have their first opportunity to learn about the programs at Foothill at their Showcase Night on Thursday, March 14th. Please start talking with your child now about interests and registration to help them make choices for next school year.

Please mark your calendar for minimum days the week of February 26th so that our teaching staff can host spring conferences for our students. Breakfast will be served before school at 7:50 am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
