Principal's Update
Dear Panther Families,
We have officially completed the first quarter of the school year! Thank you to our students, families, teachers, and staff for a strong start. First-quarter progress reports are now ready for review. I encourage families to take time to review their student’s academic progress, celebrate successes, and discuss goals and areas for continued growth as we begin the second quarter.
It has also been an exciting time for Panther Athletics, with several of our teams competing for championships! Congratulations to our student-athletes and coaches for representing Ridgeview with pride, determination, and outstanding Panther spirit.
🏆 Softball Championship: Champions! 14-3
🏃🏻♂️ Cross Country Championship: Boys finished 2nd and girls finished 3rd in Division 1!
⚽ Soccer Championship: 2 OTs in the semi-finals but didn't go our way. Proud to make final 4!
🏐 Volleyball Championship: Championship tonight!
Regardless of the final scores, we are incredibly proud of the hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship our Panthers demonstrated throughout their seasons.
As we begin the second quarter, let’s keep the momentum going. Thank you, Panther families, for your continued partnership and support. It’s always a great day to be a Panther!
Principal Thomas Garrett

Unit 2 ELA Assessment
Thinking about your holiday travel plans? Please note that ELA Unit 2 will end with the end of the semester. Students will take an assessment at this time. Students who are absent in the days leading up to Holiday Break risk missing a test that combined with another major assignment contributes to 50% of their grade. If students miss this test, they may be asked to return to school on January 4th to complete before grades are posted January 5th.
Counselors' Corner
October is National Bullying Prevention Month
At Ridgeview, every student deserves to feel safe, respected, valued, and included. This month, we encourage our Panthers to stand together against bullying by choosing kindness, showing respect, including others, and speaking up when something is not right.
Families can help by talking with students about treating others with dignity, making responsible choices in person and online, and reaching out to a trusted adult when they see or experience concerning behavior.
Together, we can continue building a school community where kindness is powerful, respect is expected, and every Panther belongs.
