What's Happening In Waterville
There is NO SCHOOL this Monday, November 9th due to teacher professional development.
We had a good week here at Waterville Grade School! As you can tell, the weather is cooling down, so please remember to dress your child in layers. The only down fall of sending them with layers is that our lost and found table is getting more and more items on it! Please remind your child to make sure they have their things and to check the lost and found table often to make sure they don't have anything left on it.
On Tuesday we will be attending the Kansas State University Women's Basketball game in Manhattan. This is a fun event that is free for our students and staff. Families are welcome to attend, but they must drive separate, pay for parking and pay for a ticket. Please note that parents will not get to sit with their child due to seating capacity in each section. They will sit in a separate section.
Parking: Women's Basketball game parking is $10 in advance or $15 at the gate. Please note that parking is credit card only (no cash). You can purchase parking in advance using the link below: Purchase Parking

It was a great week at Blue Rapids Elementary The students are working very hard as they push on to the end of the semester. Next week will be a busy and exciting week! Monday, November 9, there will be no school for students as teachers participate in a Professional Development Day focused on learning and collaboration. On Tuesday, November 10, students will have the opportunity to attend a K-State women’s basketball game, giving them a fun experience cheering on the Wildcats. Wednesday, November 11, our students will get a special sneak peek of the high school play, offering a chance to enjoy and support the high school students who have been working very hard on their performance. We will wrap up the week on Thursday, November 12, with dental screenings to help promote good oral health and student wellness.
As always, thank you for the privilege and blessing that it is to work with your children. My door is always open if you have any concerns or you need to visit.
