Early Elementary School Hours

Full School Day

Begins: 9:00am

Ends: 2:45pm

Half/Early Release Day

Begins: 9:00am

Ends: 12:25pm

If you have any changes to your day for student pickup please call the office by 2pm on full days and 11:15 am on half days. With the change in our school hour's staff does not have time to always check emails during the day so they are responding after school hours.

Student Wellness

When calling in a sick child, please remember to include what symptoms your child is experiencing. This is important for keeping records of illnesses.

Please keep your child home until they are fever free for 24hrs.

Symptoms include:

  • Temperature 100.4 or signs of fever (chills/sweating)
  • Sore throat
  • New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing
  • Diarrhea, vomiting or abdominal pain
  • New onset of severe headache

If your child is sent sent home from school with any of the symptoms listed above, they may not return to school until the symptoms subside for a full 24hrs.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

Candy Donations

To make our Halloween fun for students we are looking for bags of candy donations for our October 30th event. Please have all candy donations to the main office by October 23rd.

We will not be doing our annual parade this year and will have students dress up for the day in the classroom. Teachers will be doing events to celebrate the day. We will not have parent volunteers but we will go Facebook Live at 11 am showing parents all the fun costumes for the day. Costumes must be appropriate for school, students need to come to school dressed in costumes, students must wear a face mask with costumes.

Dismissal for October 30th will be at 12:25pm.

Picture Retake Day

Picture retakes are scheduled for November 5th.

Please Review the Mask Expectation Document

Our mask expectation had changed for the elementary campus.

On Friday, September 25th, Governor Whitmer announced Executive Order 2020-185. This executive order requires all students in grades young 5's and up to wear a face covering in classrooms. Prior orders had recommended, but not required, a face covering for grades kindergarten through five. The executive order officially begins on Monday, October 5th.

Dress for the Weather

As we welcome the new Fall season, please remember to dress your child for the changing Michigan weather. Teachers are taking their students outside for recess even if it is a bit chilly. Don't forget to pack a coat or a sweatshirt to keep your child warm!

Updating Phone & Student Contacts

It is good save the school's phone number into your phone so it is familiar if we need to contact you for any reason.
