All San Juan Unified School District parents/guardians and students (grades 4-12) are invited to participate in the annual school experience survey and provide their feedback about topics like:

Family and staff engagement
Safety
Student engagement
And more!

Your feedback is vital and informs school leaders of the changes needed in their communities.

Parking Lot Reminders:

There has been an increase of cars using the South side parking lot (Hurley and Dealynn) to drop off and/or pick up their student before and after school. Please remember this parking lot is specifically allocated for Special Education and TK USE ONLY. This is causing safety concerns as well as our busses are unable to access their designated parking area.

Signs have been reposted as a reminder, and there will be staff enforcing these procedures starting Friday, January 16th. Please note all families should be dropping off and picking up using the main entrance (Bell Street) before and after school. Thank you for supporting us to keep all students safe.

San Juan Open Enrollment for 26/27 NOW OPEN

San Juan Unified School District has opened its annual open enrollment period for the 2026-27 school year. Families have until 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, to apply for their student to attend a school other than their neighborhood school.

Families can log in to the Parent Portal to view their child’s assigned school for the 2026-27 school year. Both the current school and the next year’s assignment will be listed.

Families satisfied with their child’s assignment do not need to take any further action.
Families wishing to request a different school may submit an open enrollment lottery application.

Open enrollment is not first-come, first-served. Applications are entered into a computer-generated lottery system and may be submitted anytime during the enrollment window.
