Hello, BHS students, families, and staff.

We had a great week at BHS, culminating with a fun early-year celebration with our "Lunch on The Lawn. By all accounts, a great time and the weather was perfect!

The annual BHS Open House is this Thursday, October 6th! More details below. Your partnership in your student's success at BHS is critical and we look forward to seeing you there. Make a night of it by grabbing dinner at the Curbside Quesadilla Food truck!

Dear Brockport High School Families:

The high school staff and I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the annual Open House on Thursday, October 6, 2022. We will follow your student’s A and B day schedules. Each ‘class’ is 10 minutes in length with a scheduled four-minute passing time. If a music class, science lab, and a physical education class are meeting during the same period, you may choose which one you would like to attend. You may want to have your student help you navigate through the schedule.

To obtain a copy of your student’s schedule, you have 3 options:

• Ask your child to sit with you during the Open House night so that they can help you navigate from teacher to teacher, period to period.
• Use the attached blank schedule in this document and have your student fill it out with each period containing the appropriate teacher’s name and subject.
• Obtain your student’s schedule through the Parent Student Portal in Infinite Campus.

This evening will allow you to meet with your student’s teachers, obtain information about our academic programs, and learn about your student’s class expectations. Please keep in mind that Open House is not an evening for individual parent conferences. If you have a specific question or concern about your student, please contact the teacher or your student’s counselor via phone or email.

Administrators will be visible throughout the evening and available to answer any general questions. Counselors will be located in the library for those parents who would like to learn more about timeline for college applications and our grade level counseling curriculum outlines.

I hope you will join us this evening as our annual Open House provides an opportunity to receive class information and to meet the faculty who will be supporting your child throughout the year. On behalf of the faculty and administration, I look forward to seeing you then.
