Happy Friday on a Thursday! I hope you are as excited about fall break as we are. I think everyone needs it.
As we wrap up the first quarter, I wanted to provide some important updates regarding your child's academic progress. The first quarter ends on October 10, 2024, and report card grades will be viewable in the Home Access Center (HAC) on October 18, 2024 at 5:00 PM.
In addition to report cards, students in grades 6 through 9 will also have access to your child's MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) results. The MAP assessment provides valuable insights into your child’s current learning level and helps track academic growth throughout the year.
To assist you, I have included a guide on how to access HAC, as well as information to better understand the MAP results.
Thank you for your partnership in supporting your child’s success. I encourage you to review these results with your child and have meaningful discussions about their learning progress. Should you have specific questions regarding a grade, I encourage you to reach out to that individual teacher.
Tardies and ID badge lunch detentions start over in Quarter Two. ID badges can always be tied to backpacks, so that they are not easily misplaced.
Both of my babies are coming home this weekend for a wedding! Can’t wait to have a full house again. See everyone on Wednesday, October 16!
