Community Helps Spread Holiday Cheer to WHS Families

The Student Services team at WHS is making sure all students can receive a gift this holiday season! Thanks to the generous donations of community members through the Les Schwab Toy Drive, Salcido Connection, and Stuff-A-Sackpack, the WHS counseling office has been able to provide for students in need.

A massive thank you to all the community members who have donated. WHS wouldn鈥檛 be able to provide for our students without your support. This project wouldn鈥檛 be possible without Gabby Muniz and Kathryn Brennan, who helped coordinate donations and dedicate time, love, and office space to this project.

The WHS Air Force JROTC can鈥檛 stop winning! Since the beginning of December, WHS Air Force JROTC competed in Walla Walla and Moses Lake and brought back first place trophies from both in color guard, drone, and marksmanship events.

Brayah Maughan took 1st in the individual marksmanship event. The senior color guard team (C/Maj Cook, C/Maj Anguiano, C/Capt. Mendoza and C/SMsgt Brender) also placed first out of 23 color guard teams from across Washington and Oregon! Cook, Anguiano, and Brender took the All Around Championship at the Moses Lake Drone Championship, qualifying for Nationals and West Regionals. Congratulations on all your hard work this fall!
