LMHS Updates

We hope that our students and families had a good April vacation week! We are now back for the last 7 1/2 weeks of school -- a very busy time! For seniors, there are only 5 weeks of classes remaining in their high school careers. It's easy for students to slip into a "glide through these last few weeks" mode, but that can be very detrimental to ending the school year in a good place academically. Attendance remains extremely important ... as does dedication to school work. Let's all pledge to get through the end of the 25-26 school year in a positive way!

MCAS testing continues, with the grade 8 Civics performance task this Thursday. After that:

• 5/11 & 5/12 - Math grade 7
• 5/13 & 5/14 - Science grade 8
• 5/18 & 5/19 - Math grade 8
• 5/20 & 5/21 - Math grade 10
• 6/1 - Civics grade 8 (part 2)
• 6/2 & 6/3 - HS Biology

Just a reminder that students should come to school on testing days with their fully-charged Chromebooks.

Interim grade reports for April will be issued after 3:00pm this Friday, May 1. As always, they will be emailed to all parents/guardians and students. Please note that this IGR does count for continued eligibility in co-curricular activities including athletics.

Protect your school-issued Chromebook, and save on your insurance next year! If you purchase a Chromebook sleeve you'll save $5 on your insurance for the 2026-2027 school year. (Note that our insurance provider has let us know that the insurance next year will increase from $25 to $30 -- so if you buy a sleeve for protection, the insurance rate won't increase for you.)
