A Message from Principal Johnson

Hello Agate Families!

Can you believe we are in the month of November already? On Thursday, November 5th, we will have been in school for 35 days! Incredible!

Students are showing progress in their reading and math skills. Ask them about the stories they are reading from our new reading curriculum called Fishtank.

Students really showed how they can be RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, AND SAFE by earning their fall carnival on October 29th.

We had a great time and THANK YOU TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF MEMBERS who made it possible.

Some reminders:

  • School starts at 8:00. Students are allowed in the building by 7:30 AM. We are encouraging students to eat something for breakfast to help fuel those good brains. Students are able to enter the classroom at 7:50.

3 unexcused tardies equals 1 unexcused absence

  • Poke`mon cards, squishies, dumplings and other toys need to remain at home. I shared with the students…..they do not want to lose, have broken, or have stolen their precious items. The school is not responsible for these items. Please help us keep these items safe and at home.

  • If students are in need of a fidget, we have a supply to share.

  • Our lost and found is growing. Below is the current state of our lost and found. You can check into the office and come take a look for any items you are missing.

It is an honor and a privilege to be your principal. It is such a joy to watch our students grow and learn.

Remember I have an open door policy and I am always willing to listen.

Always be curious and always be a reader,

Mrs. Johnson
