Students of the Week: Celebrating P.R.I.D.E.
Congratulations to our GLHS Students of the Week for the week of March 10! These outstanding students were recognized for exemplifying our core values of Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, and Excellence (P.R.I.D.E.) in all they do.
This recognition is part of the A Student Above initiative, proudly sponsored by Jersey Mike’s. Each student has demonstrated what it truly means to live out P.R.I.D.E., making a positive impact on our school community.
Way to go Ta'Lea Ballard, Ella Ferrin, Brayden Cummings-Poole.

Keep shining!
Report Cards
The third quarter has officially wrapped up, and report cards are now available on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal as of Friday, March 14. This is a great time to review your student’s progress, celebrate their accomplishments, and set goals for the remainder of the school year.
If you have any questions or concerns about your student’s grades, please reach out directly to their teachers—they are always happy to support and provide guidance.
Lions Thrift
As an event this spring, GLHS Student Council is organizing Lions Thrift which is a free clothing swap event for students and staff at the high school. We will be holding the event during lunch and homeroom periods on March 24th in the Main Gym.
We are hoping to collect donations from students, staff, and family members from March 3, through March 17. We will have collection bins at Clark Hall, the Main Office, the entrance to the building at L doors, outside the cafeteria, in the Paw Print, and on the 3rd floor of J building. Additionally, we have added these drop-off dates & locations for parents/guardians to contribute to Lions Thrift:
- Monday, March 17th
- 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM Clark Hall
- Tuesday, March 18th
- 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM Clark Hall
- Wednesday, March 19th
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM L-Door
- 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM Clark Hall
We are asking that you could please donate any lightly used clothing items that you are willing. We will be collecting a wide variety of items including:
Shirts
Pants
Shoes
Jewelry
Accessories
Sweatshirts
Dresses
Formal wear (old hoco/prom)
And more!
The items we are NOT collecting include:
Undergarments
Socks
Swimwear
Hats
Please spread the word and help us bring this event to life this year! This is a great opportunity to start some spring cleaning early, and give these clothes a new life. Additionally, we will be donating any leftover clothing to our local thrift stores so nothing will go to waste.
If students have any questions, feel free to reach out to Student Council President Lily Resek at 25resekl@gjps.org. If parents have questions, please reach out to our Student Council Advisor Jessica Saluke at salukej@gjps.org. Thank you so much, and we hope to see your participation!
Girls' Volleyball Informational Meeting
All those interested in participating in the girls' volleyball program in the fall should attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 26th, at 6:30 pm in the high school library. We will be discussing our spring/summer pre-season plans and introduction of coaches, and our boosters will be sharing information that would be relevant for parents to know.
Immunization Clinic
Nationwide Children's Hospital (NCH) is coming to Gahanna Lincoln High School on Tuesday, April 22nd to offer school required immunizations to rising 12th graders (Class of 2026).
If you are interested in having your child(ren) receive their immunizations, please complete the interest form linked below. If you have more than one student, please complete a separate interest form per child. Please be sure to let your student know that they have been signed up for the immunization clinic.
You will receive a phone call from the NCH clinic staff to confirm and answer any questions prior to the clinic day.
These services will be billed to your insurance. If you do not have insurance, vaccines may still be given. A staff member will follow up with you to collect more information.
