Good evening! Welcome to April. From here on out, the year will FLY by!

It has been nice to get back into a routine lately and we have noticed the students starting to get SPRING FEVER! Many grade levels have taken their end of the year NWEA (benchmark) test, while others are beginning preparations for the state MAP test at the end of the month.

We notice some of you are starting to join your child for lunch more frequently. We have a special place for you and your child to sit during this time, but appreciate the notice in case more than one parent chooses to stop in that day. Here are a few reminders from our Student Handbook about our procedure:

If you would like to join your child for lunch, please call the elementary office at 238-1646 and inform them whether you are bringing lunch with you for you and your child. You may only bring lunch for you and your child. Please check in at the office upon arrival.

Please remember that all negative lunch balances need to be paid prior to the end of the school year.

Do you have a child that will be 5 before August 1, 2025 that is NOT currently enrolled in our preschool? If so, please sign up to have your child screened. If you have (or know of) a younger child that missed out preschool screenings, they are welcome to attend, too!

Book Fair Volunteers:

Our BOGO (Buy one, get one free) book fair is coming up at the end of April. We need volunteers to help run the fair. If you can help, please use the link to sign up.

Please take note of these upcoming dates for state testing. To accommodate all of our students and their needs, we plan these dates in advance. Please schedule any appointments or other reasons for absence around these dates. We appreciate your help in helping this run smoothly.

Every Friday our families get together first thing in the morning to focus on our monthly character traits or play a character building activity. Our families are created and range from preschool through sixth grade students. The older students become a buddy for the younger students and help them get to and from their classes. These families stay together until those students move on to seventh grade. Our goal with families is to help our students create friends throughout the building and people they know in times of need. We look forward to family day each Friday and we love hearing all the laughter and see all the smiles in the hall. These are just a few moments of fun captured during Family Day!
