Principal's Message

Hello Sand Point Families,

What a week of celebration and connection! Our Talent Show was truly a gift to witness. Seeing our Squirrels step onto the stage, share their talents, cheer each other on, and celebrate one another was a beautiful reminder of the incredible creativity and courage that lives within our community. The variety of skills and passions our students shared never ceases to amaze me.

Speaking of community, our Carnival was another wonderful reflection of what makes Sand Point so special. The support, joy, and care shared among families, staff, and students was heartwarming. Watching families connect, laugh, and create memories together, both the quiet moments and the wonderfully loud ones, has a way of making our big city feel like a small town in the very best way.

While the school year is coming to a close, our time together is not over yet! We have three busy and exciting days ahead. We will kick off the week with Field Day on Monday from 12:30–2:00 (please see the message from Coach Jacks below), celebrate our 5th graders during promotion on Tuesday evening, and finish our year on Wednesday with our final day of school. On Wednesday, our preschool through 4th grade students will participate in our β€œroll up” celebration, where they will get a glimpse of what next year has in store.

A reminder that Wednesday is an early release day, and students will be dismissed at 1:25 PM.

As I reflect on this year, I am filled with gratitude. Thank you for your partnership, your trust, and your continued commitment to making Sand Point a place where students feel known, valued, and supported. It has been an incredible year of learning, growth, and connection, and I am so honored to be part of this community.

Thank you for an amazing year, Sand Point. πŸ’š

Warmly,

Dr. Stephanie Zikopoulos

It is not too soon to plan for next school year!

Vaccines- immunizations are required for students to attend school. If your child is not current with vaccines, they risk being excluded from school.

Life Threatening Conditions- Asthma, life-threatening allergies (requiring an epi pen), and seizures are considered life-threatening conditions. It is legally required to keep all medications related to these conditions at school. If your child sees their doctor this summer, please bring them the correct medication authorization to fill out for next school year.
