Keystone JVS Students Keystone JVS Students

On September 3rd, Mr. Shaw, Mr. Gallion and Miss Atkinson met visited all of the JVS juniors and seniors! We had an outstanding meeting with our JVS students! Mr. Gallion met with all of the juniors while Miss Atkinson met with all of the seniors, individually. Mr. Shaw would like all the JVS students and parents to know that he will include his weekly updates to all students via their JVS email address. Please look out for this email to occur each Friday evening! We want all of our JVS students to feel connected to Keystone High School and we want them to feel included in anything and everything they would like to be a part of! If anyone has any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mr. Shaw!

KHS Retake Policy KHS Retake Policy

This will be a building-wide policy designed to ensure that the retake process requires more work from students than the initial studying and preparation for the assessment. Students will be allowed one retake per quarter, per student, per course, although teachers may use their discretion to allow additional retakes when appropriate. In order to qualify for a retake, students must demonstrate one week of consecutive connections, consisting of four days and the completion of at least three remediation assignments. The retake assessment does not need to be in the same format or style as the original assessment. Students must complete the retake within seven school days of receiving their grade. This policy will apply to all classes except CCP courses and will not apply to final or midterm exams.
