Book Character Parade 10/30

Harvest Day Friday, October 30th!

Harvest Day at Green Oaks is coming soon. Your beaver can dress up in a book character costume if they would like. This is optional. Costumes need to be school appropriate. Here are some basic guidelines.

No witches or ghosts
No weapons
No masks
No Blow Up Costumes
No blood or anything scary
No face paint (save that for your evening festivities)

There will be a short parade at 9:15 on the blacktop for any Green Oaks parents/caregivers that would like to attend. Please do not come to the blacktop until the announcement is made from office staff.

Updated Volunteer Requirements

All Volunteers

Beginning July 1, 2026, California Senate Bill 848 expands annual child safety requirements for school volunteers. Volunteers who are 18 years of age or older must complete additional child safety requirements before volunteering.

Returning volunteers who had a volunteer clearance status as of the 2025-26 school year will also need to complete these updated requirements and submit a Volunteer Verification Form found in the steps listed further below.
