π 3rd Quarter Missing Work Update β Two Weeks to Go
As we head into the final two weeks of the 3rd nine weeks, we want to share where things currently stand regarding missing assignments.
The percentage of students with NO missing work is:
5th Grade: 75% (44 out of 59 students)
6th Grade: 26% (16 out of 61 students)
7th Grade: 20% (11 out of 55 students)
8th Grade: 33% (26 out of 79 students)
While we are proud of the students who are staying on top of their work, the data shows that many of our middle school students still have missing assignments.
With only two weeks left in the quarter, this is the time to step it up.
Families, we need your help:
Please check grades in Skyward this week.
Talk with your child about any missing assignments.
Encourage them to use class time wisely and turn in quality work.
Remind them that simply turning something in is not enough β effort and completeness matter.
Students, this is your opportunity to take ownership. Missing work impacts grades quickly, and these next two weeks can make a big difference.
We offer ASAP support MondayβThursday from 3:30β4:30. Teachers are available and ready to help.
Letβs finish the 3rd quarter strong. There is still time β but the window is closing quickly.

ATTENTION 8th GRADE PARENTS
Date Changed: 8th Grade Pre-Enrollment Information Meeting
Hello 8th Grade Families,
Please note that the date for the Pre-Enrollment Information Meeting has changed. The meeting will now take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the high school.
During this meeting, families will receive important information about the enrollment process, course selection, graduation requirements, and opportunities available to students in high school. While we asked students to turn in pre-enrollment forms today, families are welcome to reach out to Mrs. Andrews (payton.andrews@usd340.org) or Mrs. Jensen (kasey.jensen@usd340.org) via email with any questions or to request changes after the meeting.
We encourage all families to attend if possible, as this meeting is designed to help you and your student feel prepared for the transition to high school.
We are still missing a ton of pre-enrollment forms- please talk with your child about turning in their purple enrollment form for classes for next year.
