Good evening and Happy Friday!

I'm ecstatic to see our 6th grade students return from outdoor science camp today. I had the privilege of visiting them up at camp this past Wednesday, and I could tell that all of them were having a great time. I got to see them build their own survival shelters in the forest, and enjoy a delicious warm lunch. The camp facilities were impressive, the camp counselors were amazing and our sixth grade teachers, Mrs. Herdina and Ms. Juarez were doing a great job. All in all, I think this year's trip was a success. Thank you to all of our 6th grade families for being so supportive and trusting our school and district transportation department with their children's' safety. Snow came down Thursday night which made the drive a bit slower than expected.

Next week is our Spring conference week. Teachers have reached out to families and students who may need a conference and we are looking forward to those meetings next week. A friendly reminder that every day next week is an early dismissal day.

Lastly, below are some resources in regards to immigration rights of families and students. Our goal at Pacific Drive and in the Fullerton School District is to provide a safe place of learning for all of our students. We have many resources here on campus should you be interested. Join us at Charlie's Best on the afternoon/evening on March 7th for a dine out night. Charlie's is amazing in giving us 30% of the proceeds earned on that date. We hope to see you there!

Attention Fullerton families! Join us for our Korean Parent Workshop Series, where important school topics will be presented in Korean, with English interpretation available. The first session, iReady Assessments & GATE, will occur on February 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Laguna Road Elementary MPR. This is a great opportunity to learn more about iReady assessments and the GATE program to better support your child’s academic success. Mark your calendars for Session #2 on April 7, 2025, which will focus on Academic Pathways for Middle School, hosted by Parks Jr. High.
