💬📣 NEW! Sand Creek Family Voice Survey
We’re excited to introduce our new 2-minute Family Voice Survey! Developed by our SET (Student Engagement Team), this monthly survey gives families a quick and easy way to share what’s working well and how we can continue to make Sand Creek an even better place to learn and grow.
🎯 Our first goal: 150 Family Voices!
When we reach our goal, EVERYONE gets to celebrate! 🎉
🥳 This month’s celebration: PAJAMA DAY! 💤
Take the survey, share your voice, and help us reach 150 families!
Every voice counts! 💙
Fundraiser Info from PTO
Sent on behalf of the Sand Creek PTO:
Sand Creek’s Fall Fundraiser kicks off Wednesday, October 7 and we’re partnering with Heggies Pizza!
Here’s what you need to know:
Selling window: Oct. 7–28
Form & Money Turn-in dates: Oct. 14 and/or Oct. 28
Delivery/Pick Up: Nov. 18 (pick up 3:30–6:00 PM)
Goal: $7,000 (1,400 pizzas)
Direct Donations are also accepted — every dollar helps us get closer to our goal!
How funds help: supporting future school improvements
Hit the goal → Unlock the race!
If we meet our goal, school staff will race around the track wearing inflatable costumes in our Great Inflatable Race! Classrooms are also fundraising for their own goals. Ask your student(s) about their class prizes!
Students will bring home order forms on Wednesday. Watch for flyers, order forms and stickers. Your support makes a huge difference!
Feel free to reach out to the PTO with questions at sandcreekstarspto@gmail.com.
Warmly,
Sand Creek PTO
🚗 Vehicle Pickup Signs
We will be sending vehicle pickup signs home with students soon. Please place your sign on the passenger side of your dashboard so staff can easily read it and quickly get your child to you at pickup.
Celebrating Birthdays the Healthy Way!
Birthdays are a major milestone for our students, and we love celebrating their special days at school! To support our district's Wellness Policy, we kindly request that traditional birthday treats—such as candy, cakes, and cupcakes—be left at home.
If you would like to send something to school to mark your child's special day, here are some fantastic, non-food alternatives:
Fun Favors: Fun pencils, erasers, stickers, or bookmarks etc. for the class.
Donate a Book: Donate a favorite book(s) to the classroom library in honor of your child's birthday
Classroom Game: Gift a board game or deck of cards for indoor recess.
As always, please check with your child's teacher first.
Thank you so much for your partnership!
