A Message from Mrs. Albright
Friday, September 18, 2026
Our students are showing incredible dedication to our school community by actively practicing the 4 Bee Rules every day. By focusing on being respectful, responsible, a worker, and being a friend, they are setting a wonderful example in both the classrooms and hallways. Their hard work and positive choices create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued, truly making our school a better place for all.
We deeply appreciate your partnership in helping our students stay safe and make great choices every day. To ensure every ride to and from school remains secure and comfortable, we ask for your continued support in reinforcing safe bus behaviors at home. Remind your child to stay seated, keep their hands to themselves, and listen to the driver's directions. When we work together to keep these expectations front and center, we create a smooth, safe journey for every student on board.
Don't forget to mark your calendars for Fall Family Fun Night on Wednesday, September 23! Bring the family for an evening of hands-on crafts, fun games, and autumn activities as we kick off the school year. Stay tuned for full event details coming your way soon.
Gather your family and join us for the York Suburban Homecoming Parade on Thursday, September 24! We will line up in front of York Suburban High School by 6:15 PM to kick off an evening packed with community spirit. Stick around after the parade to cheer on the powderpuff games, the bonfire, and enjoy lively homecoming festivities for all ages. Don't forget to wear your orange and black to help us celebrate!
We warmly invite all of our families to join us for our beloved annual Teddy Bear Parade on October 8! Show off your school spirit by wearing your brightest orange and black, bringing cheerful signs of encouragement, and making plenty of noise as you cheer on our students. Your vibrant energy from the sidelines makes this event truly magical for our kids, and we can’t wait to celebrate together as a community! Please see the flyer below for more information.
We are looking forward to welcoming our families for upcoming conferences on Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9! These dedicated times provide a meaningful opportunity for teachers and families to connect, reflect on student progress, and set shared goals for the rest of the year. Strong partnerships between home and school are essential for helping every child thrive, and working together ensures our students have the support, encouragement, and foundation they need for a successful school year. Be sure to set up a time with your child's teacher to take advantage of this opportunity.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful long weekend making memories together!
