Energy Conservation Contract Renewed

The North Little Rock Board of Education approved to renew the contract with Cenergistic, a Texas-based energy conservation company. The North Little Rock School District has cut costs by 28% since joining signing on with this company in 2018. The contract extends until 2027.

Board Policy and Regulation Management System

Dr. Gregory J. PIlewski, Superintendent of Schools, and Mrs. Rhonda Colquitt, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, provided the Board of Education with a proposal to implement a new two-digit decimal system that will allow automatic sorting of school board policies and regulations.

School Board Governance

Mr. Joe Quinn, a consultant and former Board of Education member, provided professional development for the Board of Education and the Superintendent based upon the book, The Governance Core: School Boards, Superintendents, and Schools Working Together.

Regular Board Meeting

The North Little Rock Board of Education will meet on Thursday, November 17, 2022. All meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and are held in the Boardroom in the Administration Building, located at 2400 Willow Street.
